Whiteknights Primary's Incredible Harvest Collection

We are thrilled to announce the amazing success of this year's Harvest celebration. Thanks to the generosity of our families, we collected an incredible 122kg of food to support ReadiFood, a vital local food bank helping individuals and families across Greater Reading.

In a letter of thanks, ReadiFood highlighted the significance of our contributions, especially during these challenging times marked by the cost-of-living crisis. The donations are essential in keeping their food stocks sustainable and providing much-needed relief to those experiencing food poverty.

ReadiFood has been a pillar of support in the community for over 30 years. Their work assists families and individuals referred by Reading Borough Council, social services, school support services, and over 80 other local agencies.

We are proud to be part of this effort to make a difference. Thank you to everyone who contributed to this year's collection—you have made a real impact on the lives of others. Together, we are growing greatness through generosity and compassion.
