Melodies of the Season: Whiteknights Choir Shines at Mayor’s Carol Concert

The Whiteknights Primary School Choir recently had the honour of performing at the Mayor’s Carol Concert, joining other Wokingham schools in a festive celebration of music and community. Held over two days, with rehearsals on Friday and the big performance on Sunday, the event was a wonderful opportunity for our young singers to showcase their talents. 

Accompanied by a live orchestra, the children sang a variety of beautiful carols and festive songs. Highlights of the performance included singing as a full choir, creating a stunning echo effect as two separate choirs, and mastering a three-part round. In a magical moment, parents joined in the round, filling the hall with a joyful harmony that truly embodied the spirit of the season. 

The children gave their all during the performance, and their hard work shone through in every note. It was a proud moment for everyone involved, and we’re thrilled that the children had such a positive experience.
