Exploring the Beat: Year 6'S Engaging Encounter with Thames Valley Police
Year 6 had a fantastic visit on Wednesday from officers of Thames Valley Police, enriching our study of the history of crime and punishment in Britain this spring term. It provided a valuable opportunity to juxtapose historical practices with modern policing methods. Our pupils eagerly engaged with the officers, exploring their equipment, vehicles and asking insightful questions—none of which were left unaddressed. We promise, we did not leave any pupils in the back of the van!
A big thank you to the officers for generously sharing their time with us.
