Dancing Dragons: A Chinese New Year Adventure

Reception has had an enriching two weeks diving into the festivities of Chinese New Year.

Wednesday's highlight was undoubtedly the Chinese Dragon workshop, where the children enthusiastically embraced learning the Lion, Dragon and Peacock dances, relishing the opportunity to parade around the hall as majestic dragons. Following the lively activities, they delighted in a Chinese banquet featuring prawn crackers and noodles, skillfully enjoying their meal with personalised chopsticks—a sight that left us all thoroughly impressed.

Their immersion in this cultural exploration has been truly remarkable, with hands-on experiences, crafting and tasting contributing to their comprehensive learning journey.
