An Inspirational Visit to Leighton Park School: Year 5 Meet Bestselling Author Steve Cole

On Tuesday, Year 5 had the incredible opportunity to visit Leighton Park School for a special event, where they had the chance to 'meet' the bestselling children's author, Steve Cole.

Steve Cole is a renowned children's author and a lifelong fan of Ian Fleming's James Bond. His other book series include Z. Rex, Thieves Like Us, Doctor Who and Astrosaurs, with his collective sales having surpassed three million copies. Additionally, he has worked as an editor of books and magazines for readers of all ages.

During the event, pupils had the chance to listen to Steve Cole give an inspirational account of his experience in the world of literature. They were captivated by his stories and his journey as an author. The visit provided valuable insights into the world of reading and writing – with the children not only having fun, but also engaging with the author - leaving a lasting impact on all who attended.
